Cambie Real Estate Update (February 2014)

Detached home sales were up for February 2014 as there were 14 sales compared to 6 sales for the same month last year. The highest priced home to sell in February was for $2,980,000 (3843 Heather Street - 33’ X 118’ lot size) and the lowest priced home to sell was for $1,385,000 (970 W 22nd Ave – 33’ X 122’ lot size). All 14 sales sold higher than their 2013 tax assessment values.


Currently there are 43 homes for sale and this is down from last month where there were 44 homes for sale. The lowest priced home for sale is $888,000 (35 W 41st Ave - 33’ X 112’ lot size) and the highest priced home for sale is $5,000,000 (506 W 27th Ave – 67.5’ X 150’ lot size). At the end of February, there were two listings that expired as they were unable to sell.
