Cambie Real Estate Update (March 2015)

Detached home sales were down for March 2015 as there were 8 sales compared to 13 sales for the same month last year.  The highest priced home to sell in March was for $3,268,000 and the lowest priced home to sell was for $1,610,000.  Four homes sold over their asking price while the rest of the sales were all below their asking price.  All 8 sales were above their 2014 tax assessment values.

 

Currently there are 45 homes for sale and this is up from last month where there were 36 homes for sale.  The lowest priced home for sale is listed at $1,438,000 (27 W 22nd Ave) and the highest priced home for sale is listed at $4,998,000 (211 W 26th Ave).  During March, there was only one home which reduced its price and there were three listings that expired.
