Cambie Real Estate Update (October 2013)

Detached home sales were substantially up for October 2013 as there were 11 sales compared to 6 sales for the same month last year.  The highest priced home to sell in October was for $2,688,000 (5469 Mackie St - 46’ X 115’ lot size) and the lowest priced home to sell was for $1,150,000* (33 W Woodstock Ave – 33’ X 122’ lot size).   Ten sales were above their 2013 tax assessment values and one sale was below its tax assessment value. 

 

Currently there are 51 homes for sale and this is the same number of homes that were for sale last month.  The lowest priced home for sale is $948,000 (57 W 41st Ave - 33’ X 112’ lot size) and the highest priced home for sale is $5,000,000 (506 W 27th Ave - 67’ X 150’ lot size).  At the end of October, there were no listings that expired.
