Cambie Real Estate Update (February 2016)

Detached home sales (15) were up for February 2016 when compared to the same month last year (12).  The highest priced home to sell in February was for $4,131,429 and the lowest priced home to sell was for $2,160,000.  Ten homes sold above their asking price and one home sold at its asking price.  Also all 15 sales were above their 2015 tax assessment values. There were 2 price increases during the month and one home came off the market as the listing expired.


Currently there are 31 detached homes for sale and this is down from last month where there were 33 homes for sale.  The lowest priced home for sale is listed at $1,998,000 (970 West 17th Ave) and the highest priced home for sale is listed at $6,398,000 (5348 Manson Street).  The average listing price in the Cambie area is currently $2,871,320.
