Cambie Real Estate Update (March 2014)

Detached home sales were down for March 2014 as there were 11 sales compared to 13 sales for the same month last year. The highest priced home to sell in March was for $2,838,000 (130 W 26th Ave - 45’ X 124’ lot size) and the lowest priced home to sell was for $888,000 (35 W 41st – 33’ X 112’ lot size). All 11 sales sold higher than their 2013 tax assessment values.

Currently there are 52 homes for sale and this is up from last month where there were 43 homes for sale. The lowest priced home for sale is $1,100,000 (23 W 41st Ave - 33’ X 112’ lot size) and the highest priced home for sale is $5,000,000 (506 W 27th Ave – 67.5’ X 150’ lot size). At the end of March, there were four listings that expired as they were unable to sell.
