Lower Mainlands Highest Priced Sales (December 09)

The highest priced home to sell in December was in White Rock (13616 Marine Drive).  This spectacular waterfront bluff home offered over 9000 sqft of living space.  This home has 4 large bedrooms, 7 bathrooms and a georgeous kitchen.  Other features included: luxurious master suite, state of the art media center, wine cellar and amazing views of  the Gulf Islands.  The asking price for this home was  $12,900,000.  It was on the market for 159 days and sold for $11,800,000.  The property taxes for 2009 were $46,373.
 
 
The highest priced condo to sell in the Lower Mainland for December was in West Vancouver.  This condo was listed for $4,488,000 and sold for $3,900,000.   This georgeous British Property condo was just under 4500 square feet and offered 3 Bedrooms/ Bathrooms.   Other features included: private elevator, floor to ceiling windows, beautiful ocean/city views, Miele appliances, huge granite island and a stunning master ensuite which has an elevated jacuzzi soaker tub that looks out to the glorious views.  The property taxes for 2009 were $17,196.
